Its the Koran stupid!

What turns a "mild mannered", "intelligent" student who "lived up to the religious ideals of being a good person" into a jihadist who ran his SUV into a crowd of students, injuring 9 at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill? Purportedly, his intent was to "avenge the deaths of Muslims worldwide". Is this not "jihad"?

Well, according to his roommate Dan Van Atta, when they discussed the change in Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar's life, Taheri-azar told him "he had begun studying the Quran".

But what amazes me, is that instead of "connecting the dots" to the CONTENT of the Quran, the obvious explanation, people jump to the liberal pre-programmed multicultural, politically correct conclusion: He acted alone. He was "pushed" into doing it. Tahiri's roommate" "I think it's kind of one of those things that someone snapped," he said. "Someone is thinking about doing something crazy - they eventually end up doing it when they're pushed into doing it."

Dare we ask .... what inspired that "thinking"? Who "pushed" him into acting on it?

Frankly, whether the jihadist's are a worldwide shadowy organization like Al Qaeda, terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, Muslim individuals like Tahiri-azar, or even American converts like Joel Heinrichs, Richard Reid, Jose Padilla, or Ahmed Akbar, it behooves us to understand that what they all have in common is their source: Islam. I, for one, am tired of the myth of the "moderate" Muslim when in reality it is not that they have "moderated" Islam, but rather that they just don't take it literally or seriously.

This is not much different than "mainstream" Christians today who I affectionately call the "two timers". They go to church twice a year, on Christmas and Easter, as if sitting in a pew feeling religious two hours a year makes them a Christian. But God help the real Bible believer who happens to be in their presence the other 50 weeks a year... the two timers think nothing of persecuting them for being "Bible thumping Jesus freaks". Those apostates like to think of themselves as "moderate", when in reality they are simply UNBELIEVERS who show up twice a year to get a self-righteous "fix" . And so it is with "moderate" Muslims. However, the difference is that real Bible believers don't turn into maniacal murdering jihadists in order to practice their religion because the Bible doesn't teach it!

As long as we continue to delude ourselves that Islam is a "religion of peace" while ignoring the barbarity and tyranny of the entire Muslim region on planet Earth, we expose ourselves to the barbarous acts of individual acting alone as well as the actions of entire nations like Iran.

If it were up to me, there would NO Muslim immigration. That does not mean "Arab" or any other racial or ethnic group, as there are many Arabs and others who are not Muslim and are capable of assimilation. Muslims, regardless of their nationality, do not assimilate and instead are like a time bomb in our midst, especially those who get really serious about their Korans.

That is the true meaning of what happened at UNC - Chapel Hill.
