In simple terms, these are the six "PURPOSES" listed in the preamble of the United States Constitution that everything ELSE which follows is supposed to serve:
WE THE PEOPLE, in order to:
1) to form a more perfect union... "CONNECT THE STATES"
2) to establish justice.... "ESTABLISH JUSTICE"
3) to ensure domestic tranquility..."ENSURE PEACE"
4) to provide for the common defense "PROVIDE DEFENSE"
5) to promote the general welfare ... "PROVIDE A FAIR ECONOMIC PLAYING FIELD FOR ALL CITIZENS ENABLING ACCESS TO ALL PARTIES FOR THE USE OF THEIR GIFTS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND TALENTS TO PURSUE THEIR DREAMS AND GOALS IN LIFE"
6) to secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity..."SECURE LIBERTY NOW AND FOR THE FUTURE"
